Newsletters
Give each letter a public subscribe page, pick a design, and send issues from the dashboard or the API.
Open Newsletters, name the letter, and set who it is from. The from address has to be on a domain you already verified. Pick a design: Paper, Butter, Ink, Sea, Tomato, Linen, Night, Postcard, Ledger, Bloom, Signal, Harbor, or Folio. Readers see that design on the subscribe page and in the embed.
Share the page link. Pigeon assigns six characters, and no other account uses that link. For example https://pigeonfs.com/n/k3m9qp. A reader enters an email and confirms from the message you send. Only confirmed readers receive the next issue. Leaving a newsletter does not stop other mail from that domain. On the letter, Export CSV downloads every reader: email, name, status, and when they confirmed.
The page link is the one to hand to readers. Use the iframe when the form should sit on a site you already have.

Issues
An issue is a name, a subject, and HTML. Write it in the dashboard, or create it with the API and publish it. Name and email tags in the letter are filled for each reader. Send now, or set a future scheduled_at and Pigeon sends the issue when it is due. Publishing a sent issue again is rejected.
Each confirmation and each delivered issue counts toward the plan quota. A suppressed address is skipped. If sending is paused, new readers are not confirmed and the issue does not go out.
