Incoming mail
Create an address on a domain you verified. Mail sent to that address is stored, and you read it in Incoming.
Setup
- Verify the domain first. An address such as ada@yourdomain.com needs a domain that is already verified.
- Open Incoming. Pick that domain and a name, such as ada. Pigeon accepts mail for that exact address. A name you have not created is refused.
- Point the domain's MX record at pigeonfs.com. The hosted app accepts that mail on port 25.
- Open the message in Incoming. The subject and the body are stored encrypted. Scripts in the stored HTML do not run.
Receiving this mail does not count toward the send quota. The submission port used to send mail does not accept public mail for these addresses.
