Share a page for your newsletter
Each letter gets a public subscribe page, a design, and a way to send the next issue from the dashboard or the API.
Open Newsletters, name the letter, and set who it is from. The from address has to be on a domain you already verified. Add a short description if you want one on the page. Pick a design: Paper, Butter, Ink, Sea, Tomato, Linen, Night, Postcard, Ledger, Bloom, Signal, Harbor, or Folio. Readers see that design on the subscribe page and in the embed.
The page and the embed
Pigeon assigns a six-character link, and no other account uses it. The title on the page stays the name you chose. Hand readers the page. Use the iframe when the form should sit on a site you already have.

Who receives an issue
- A reader enters an email and confirms from the message you send. Only confirmed readers receive the next issue.
- Write the issue in the dashboard, or create it with the API and publish it. {{name}} and {{email}} are filled in for each reader.
- Send now, or set a future time and Pigeon sends the issue when it is due.
- Leaving a newsletter does not stop other mail from that domain.
Each confirmation and each delivered issue counts toward the plan quota. A blocked address is skipped, and the rest of the issue still goes out. If sending is paused, new readers are not confirmed and the issue does not go out. A sending key can call the newsletter API.
